In commercial transportation, Freightliner continues to lead the way with durability, advanced engineering, and forward-thinking technology. The 2026 Freightliner lineup delivers a full spectrum of solutions—from on-highway powerhouses to medium-duty workhorses and all-electric innovations—designed to keep businesses in Lake Worth Beach, FL, running at peak productivity.

The 2026 Freightliner Cascadia: On-Highway Leadership

The Fifth Generation Freightliner Cascadia continues its legacy as North America’s most advanced Class 8 truck. Featuring refined aerodynamics, intelligent safety systems, and next-level connectivity, it’s engineered to maximize uptime and minimize operational costs.

Aerodynamic enhancements such as the Max Aero Bumper, A-pillar deflectors, and front wheel well closeouts contribute to up to 1.9% greater fuel efficiency compared to the previous generation. The Cascadia’s design optimizes airflow and visibility, reducing drag and improving performance mile after mile.

Inside, the new digital dash offers a 12-inch primary and 10-inch auxiliary display with Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and customizable views. A redesigned driver’s lounge package—complete with a Murphy bed, dinette table, and inverter options—turns long hauls into comfortable journeys.

Safety is also at the forefront with the Detroit Assurance® with ABA6 Suite, including Active Brake Assist 6, Side Guard Assist 2, and Active Lane Assist 2. These systems monitor up to 270° around the truck, identifying vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists to help prevent collisions. The Intelligent Braking Control System and electronic park brake add even more confidence and control.

Powered by the Detroit® DD13® and DD15® engines and the Detroit® DT12™ automated manual transmission, the Cascadia offers unmatched fuel economy and performance. Combined with Intelligent Powertrain Management, it predicts terrain and adjusts performance for maximum efficiency.

Freightliner M2 106 Plus: Medium-Duty Versatility

The M2 106 Plus continues to dominate the medium-duty segment with exceptional productivity and easy customization. Ideal for regional delivery, construction, and utility applications, it combines outstanding visibility, maneuverability, and safety.

Available powertrains include the Detroit® DD5™, DD8™, and Cummins B6.7™ and L9™, delivering 200–375 horsepower. Operators can select from Allison® automatic or Eaton Fuller® manual transmissions for optimal control.

A redesigned interior improves ergonomics and reduces noise, while Detroit Assurance® technologies—such as Active Brake Assist 5, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Side Guard Assist—enhance driver confidence and protection on every route.

The Electric Evolution: eCascadia and eM2

Freightliner’s electric lineup redefines what it means to be efficient and sustainable. The eCascadia and eM2 deliver zero-emission performance backed by Freightliner’s proven reliability and advanced engineering.

The eCascadia offers up to 470 horsepower and a 230-mile range, with 80% recharge capability in about 90 minutes. Designed for regional haul, drayage, and last-mile delivery, it features regenerative braking, advanced telematics, and seamless integration with Detroit ePowertrain™ components.

Built on the proven M2 platform, the Freightliner eM2 delivers the agility, range, and payload capacity today’s urban operations demand. Available in Class 6 and Class 7 configurations, it offers up to 255 horsepower, a GVWR between 26,000 and 33,000 lbs, and a typical range of 180–250 miles on usable battery capacities of 194 kWh or 291 kWh. Fast-charging capability enables an 80% recharge in as little as 60 minutes.

Purpose-built for pickup and delivery, food and beverage transport, and local distribution, the eM2 combines Freightliner’s global engineering expertise with zero-emission technology proven across over 1.5 million miles of customer testing.
